Campbell Lea Clerks

Paul Bender began his articles with us at Campbell Lea in November 2011.

He graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree (with honours) double majoring in Political Science and Law & Society. In addition, he obtained a certificate in Practical Ethics. In April of 2011, Mr. Bender was awarded a Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. During law school, Mr. Bender studied a wide variety of topics including: Fisheries Law, Internet and Media Law, Family Law, Youth Law, Elder Law, Mental Disability Law, International Humanitarian Law/Armed Conflict, and Immigration Law.

Mr. Bender has worked with Amnesty International and the Social Activist Law Student Association in Halifax. He proudly serves as an officer in the Royal Canadian Navy and as a board member for Family Service PEI. Mr. Bender is member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and the Canadian Bar Association.

He is looking forward to practicing primarily in the area of family law in the future.
