Jane has been a partner of the firm since 1988. Jane received a B.A. from Mount Allison University in 1972, a B.Ed. from Mount Allison University in 1975, and an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1982. Jane is a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island, the Canadian Bar Association, and is the Chair of the Law Foundation of Prince Edward Island. Jane is a former member of the Council of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island, the Law Society of Upper Canada, and a former Bar Admission Course Instructor. She was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2004.
